I’m an independent traveler, travel blogger, and entrepreneur living in Portland, Oregon. I’m passionate about traveling the world on my own, and I believe that every woman, no matter what age, can experience the thrill of traveling solo. I want older women to be inspired, be supported, and be confident in their travel choices. That’s why I worked hard to build the first global Facebook group dedicated to Over 60 Solo Women Travelers. After it reached 10,000 members, I decided to create this Mighty Network to build a private community of independent women travelers to share inspiration, support, and advice.
Our community is supportive, nurturing and generous. We are focused on sharing information and providing encouragement to older solo women travelers. We discuss all things travel-related, including sometimes controversial subjects such as our effect on the environment, our understanding of different political situations and cultural groups, and our impact on others when we travel. We also discuss train schedules, car rentals, itineraries, food and drink, and what kind of suitcase/backpack we use.
For your membership, not only will you be part of a global community of older solo women travelers, you'll get:
Geographic Area and Focused Subject Meetups
Directly Connect with Other Members Around You or While Traveling
Experienced Member Mentors
Topical Discussions and Traveler Stories
Online Courses and Instructional Videos
